Yupo
Paper
In-Studio Class
Learn a new technique
With Renée Mizgala
Students would learn the qualities of yupo paper – a very smooth vinyl-type paper that can be fun to work with, creating quite a unique abstract design which can then be incorporated into a realistic image if so desired. Not for beginner watercolourists, as the paper can be a bit tricky to use and the student must be open to Happy Accidents which is what makes this experience so much fun and creative.

Create a Paw-Print Keepsake
With Bri Cares Adoption
Our Paws & Prints workshop is a traveling event that visits dog parks throughout Dollard-des-Ormeaux. This initiative is in partnership with Bri Cares Adoption, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving homes for dogs. This activity allows dog owners to create special keepsakes of their canine companions using air-dry clay, fostering a sense of connection and creating cherished memories.
While the clay sets, pups can enjoy playtime, and owners can connect with fellow community members, strengthening our vibrant neighbourhood. Paints will also be available for decorating keepsakes.
Bri Cares Adoption will be present to share stories, raise awareness about dogs in need, and encourage community support for adoption.

Elemental
Dancing
In-Studio Class
Discover expressive dance
With Jennifer
Elemental Dance explores the 5 elements : Earth, Water, Fire, Air, & Ether.
Supported by music that captures each element you are guided through movement, breathing exercises, awareness, and contemplative meditation to explore the elements in the body.
The theory of each element will be explained at the beginning of the class, how it shows up in the body, in nature, and in life.
Then we explore key movements to practice before integrating into the full dance experience.
It is beneficial to follow the full series to understand each element and then how they all interact in Ether.
The classes both build on one another but are also complete enough to take ‘a la carte’ if need be (only one element, or one element + “ether”).
No previous experience required.
