Watercolour Workshops with Renée Mizgala

Masa

Paper

In-Studio Class

Learn a new technique

With Renée Mizgala

A painting on masa paper gives  watercolours a lot of texture and is ideal to bring a new perspective into this art form.  The method was first used by Chinese monks as a form of meditation and can be used for abstract as well as realistic works.

Yupo

Paper

In-Studio Class

Learn a new technique

With Renée Mizgala

Students would learn the qualities of yupo paper – a very smooth vinyl-type paper that can be fun to work with, creating quite a unique abstract design which can then be incorporated into a realistic image if so desired.    Not for beginner watercolourists, as the paper can be a bit tricky to use and the student must be open to Happy Accidents which is what makes this experience so much fun and creative.
