Music Discovery (ages 0 to 5)

For children of all skill levels
Join us for a music making class that will nurture your child’s musical exploration. This class will help develop a sense of musicality through singing, movement, and musical improvisation. We believe that creating music is not reserved only in a formal setting, but that it can be an interactive creative experience we can take home. Come and check out this new class!

Develop your musical foundation
Because of its unique layout, the piano allows students to learn both treble and bass, a wide range of pitch, melody and accompaniment, as well as dynamic range, making it the ideal starting point for learning the foundations of music.

For children (5+), teens and adults of all levels
Emphasis is placed on music appreciation and the introduction to basic aspects of musical training. Courses explore musical signs and terms, counting to rhythm, proper hand position and techniques, sight reading and musical interpretation.
Experienced students may prepare for Conservatory exams.
In-Studio or Online courses are currently offered on Saturdays and Sundays in ½ hour or 1 hour blocks.

Singing Lessons
For children (7+), teens and adults
Beginners and advanced students learn reliable techniques that greatly improve the sound, range, and strength of their voice, while protecting it from fatigue and strain. Explore various musical styles and discover the basics of music theory, harmony, and improvisation.

Songwriting Lessons
For children (7+), teens and adults
A creative course that discusses songs and their structure. Young children will participate in rhyming words and making melodies while learning the major scale. Older children will do writing exercises to develop their lyric talent and learn chord progressions. Musicians/songwriters will have their work critiqued and will be encouraged to compare and create different styles of music. No formal training necessary. All young children must be at reading level.

Beginners and advanced students develop music appreciation and core musical skills through learning songs of various styles. The skills developed in these sessions range from: proper technique, technical aspects of the instrument (scales, chords, arpeggios), musical interpretation and analysis, rhythm, theory and more.
