Ensure your internet connection works at its fastest; run a test here and call your service provider if you have doubts
If you are using your home Wi-Fi, make sure you are within the recommended distance. Remember: walls and floors create interference. Your service provider can help you enhance your signal by way of a “bumper.”
A Bluetooth headset with a microphone can help you get the best possible experience out of your class, ensuring that you hear everyone and that they hear you at your best. It can also provide some privacy and focus if you share your home with others.
Proper lighting helps you see what you are creating. It also helps your teacher and classmates see you, the colours and details of your paintings and drawings more accurately. Make sure your light source is not coming from behind you and is bright enough.
Place your camera so your face is framed correctly so everyone in the class can see you.
If you receive a telephone call or someone from your household walks into your workspace, please remember to mute your microphone. You can also turn off your microphone if the project you are working on creates some background noise. You will still be able to hear what is being discussed in class.
Speaking in turns, will make the experience better for everyone. Let others finish before speaking.
